The Roaring Northerners are Dave Stewart, John Hill and Iain Robertson; a loose affiliation of tabletop wargamers and figure painters who inhabit the frozen and somewhat soggy wastelands of west central Scotland. Shadowy and secretive, they stoically quest to reduce the scale of the lead mountain that threatens to engulf them all, and perhaps even find the time for the occasional game...

Now.......where did I put those Mediaevals?.......and the FaIW figures.......?

As ever all comments pro and con gratefully received.

Cheers.

David.

In Other News...

I've been mega busy of late at work, so have been struggling to get anything done worth updating the blog with. Boo!

However...

The Roaring Northerners are now on Facebook. Yay!

Y'all should go here for Bookfacery....

My intention is to use the Facebook page for banter, unboxings, links, etc, and keep this blog for finished pieces or WIP, battle or show reports, book reviews (get us), or even (should we get really keen) history/ background articles...

Hopefully should be back on form with some new shiney stuff to show off soon...

Cheers
Iain

T72-M1

Ok, guys, it's taken a while, but I finally finished the latest addition to the Cold War Czechoslovakian Force.

At 1/72nd scale or near as dammit 20mm The T72 is a Revell kit and built straight out of the box.

I nice little build that I hope will give the Czechs a bit of punch on the table top.

One more six man dismount to finish with some support weapons and these boys should be good to go.

Would be great to actually finish a project for once!

As ever any and all comments, pro and con, welcomed.

Cheers all.

David.
